Community Resilience Forum Six – People

Thank you to everyone who attended this month’s Community Resilience Forum. This month we focussed on ‘People’, how we can engage more and why we need to engage with more people to improve more peoples lives. It also looks at volunteers and working together.

This presentation from our sixth Community Resilience Forum has been put on YouTube so more people can view it. This was presented at our monthly forum on Friday 29th July 2022, where we also talked about co-operation.

Lots of new activities and events were talked also about and in the sprit of co-operation, delegates offered each other help, thank you for co-operating with each other! We agreed to share new events for our What’s on Wellingborough events page and our social media outlets.

The next Community Resilience Forum will be on Friday 26th August at 2pm

People Community Resilience Forum

Do join us this Friday to look at people and how we can engage with more during the cost of living crisis.

We would like you to join us on a second series of Community Resilience Forums on Teams, to discuss how to help people in the town during and after the Coronavirus pandemic. Jonathan, Co-op Member Pioneer for Wellingborough invites you to the sixth Community Resilience Forum this Friday (29th July) at 2pm.

Following on from last month’s Co-operation Community Resilience Forum, where we looked at how we can work together to make our community a better place to live and work in, it’s obvious that we can’t do everything ourselves. We can do so much more together, and that’s why we need to engage with more people to improve more peoples lives.

Join us for a short presentation and a discussion on Teams, to see if you can help us and to see if we can help you. It’s a free event, all you need to do is register using the form below, we will then send you the Teams link to the email that you registered with. The aims of Wellingborough Community Resilience Forum are to bring people and groups from across the borough together, to hear people’s concerns and ideas, and see what practical steps we can take to collectively help to meet some of the emerging needs, and provide some coordination and direction for our efforts where possible.

Join us at the People Community Resilience Forum. At the start of the forum on Teams, everyone will be given the chance to introduce themselves and, if applicable, the organisation they represent. You will also have the opportunity to network with each other and share your events and activities. See you on Friday at 2pm!
