Do join us this Friday on the ‘Warm and Well Community Resilience Forum’ on Zoom, to discuss how to help people in the town during the cost-of-living crisis. We invite you to the tenth Community Resilience Forum this Friday (25th November) at 2pm.
Why Warm and Well? Well, this winter is going to be the most challenging in living memory for all of us. The wellbeing of many local people will be greatly affected by the cost-of-living crisis, with some having to choose between heating and eating.
We can all of course help, but how? With new ‘Warm Rooms’ being set up by some community centres and other warm and well initiatives being offered locally; we need to work collaboratively to make what we offer helps the most people.
At the start of the forum, everyone will be given the chance to introduce themselves and, if applicable, the organisation they represent. You will also have the opportunity to network with each other and share your events and activities. Join us for a short presentation and a discussion on Zoom, to see if you can help us and to see if we can help you. It’s a free event, all you need to do to join is register using the form below.
See you on Friday at 2pm!
