With a cost of living and climate crisis, many of us are facing tough decisions. Some of us have moved to working from home following the pandemic and are facing a winter with increased energy bills. Others are facing even harder decisions about whether to heat or eat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Warm Spaces are for anyone<\/em> in need of warmth & community, they are a warm space to share with others. On this page we will share all Warm Spaces that are available in Wellingborough. Every space can offer something different. Some may offer free food; pay-it-forward schemes, advice, somewhere to charge your phone or maybe just somewhere to be comfortable and warm with no judgement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The aim is for Warm Spaces to be free or offer low-cost options. It may be a community centre, church or library that you are free to visit. Or it could be a coffee shop where people are free to work for the price of a drink or even times of the week when you are able to stay with no obligation to pay\/buy. Available Warm Spaces:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Wellingborough Library<\/strong> is open six days a week, 9-6 Monday-Friday and 9-5 Saturdays. Find them at 7 Pebble Lane, Wellingborough NN8 1AS or call 0300 126 1000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Victoria Centre<\/a><\/strong> open on a Saturday as a Warm Space to offer free hot food and drinks to residents of the Victoria Area. St. Marks Church<\/a><\/strong> hold their Warm Wednesday Support Drop-in on Wednesdays 10-3, also offering warm food and drinks. Find them at 142 Queensway, Wellingborough, NN8 3SD or call Father Ben on 07977 243197. Click this link<\/a> to find out more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wellingborough Eco Group<\/strong> host their Happy Cafe Winter Warm Space<\/a> 10-2 on Tuesdays and Thursdays, find them at ECO HUB, Glamis Hall, Goldsmith Road, Wellingborough, NN8 3RU. Wellingborough Quakers<\/strong> hold a drop in on the first Sunday of every month 2-3:30. Find them at Meeting House, St Johns St, Wellingborough NN8 4LG.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
