FEED THE NEED on Hemmingwell

Wellingborough Organisations

Today we visited the Feed The Need Food Bank in Hemmingwell, which is open every Monday and you’re welcome to pass through! They are there from 10:00am to 11:00am, and £10 gets you a grate of food that includes ambient, fresh and frozen food, and wow you get a lot for a tenner!

Feed the Need is run my Elim Hope Church, who are also hosting North Northamptonshire Council Warm, Safe Spaces at The Well next door to the Food Bank, on Mondays and Saturdays from 10:00am to 2:00pm. Do pop in for a free breakfast or hot drink, they have a wide selection of both!

You can find them at The Well, 127 Nest Farm Crescent, NN8 4TU. This video shows you a busy morning at the Food Bank and Warm Space, and walks you round with a guided tour from the people who run both. You will be amazed at what they offer, watch the video to find out more:

This year we have decided not to do our Advent Calendar, but it doesn’t mean that we will not be sharing good news stories, activities and events from in and around Wellingborough. As it is 1st December, we thought that we would kick off our festive sharing with one of Wellingborough’s kindest organisations.

It’s great to see such an amazing community coming together to help local people, please do support them if you can with any food or financial donations; or visit them to be truly well looked after. Thank you to the fabulous people at Feed the Need and Hope Church!
